Azerbaijan took 3rd place in the European Postal Competition

In the "Europa 2024" postage stamp competition, the "Blue Whale" stamp presented by "Azerpost" LLC, representing our country, took 3rd place.
This year's annual European Postal Competition theme was "Underwater Flora and Fauna." The goal was to draw global attention to endangered underwater species and those suffering from global climate change and ecological crises.
Participating for the third year, "Azerpost" chose the blue whale, an endangered underwater species, showcasing its sensitivity to the global ecosystem. The stamp also managed to depict the delicate beauty of the blue whale through the artist's unique perspective.
The design on the stamp submitted by Azerbaijan belongs to artist Orkhan Garayev.
The stamp was printed at the "Bpost" printing house in Belgium, known for its high standards.
