"Azerpost" LLC has issued a stamp to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the activities of the Embassy of the United Mexican States in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

An event was held in honor of the 10th anniversary of the cooperation between the Embassy of the United Mexican States and the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the event, the commemorative stamp jointly issued with "Azerpost" LLC was presented.

Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, Mexico’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, emphasized the great significance of opening the embassy in Baku in terms of developing bilateral relations.

In his speech, Acting Chairman of the Board of "Azərpoçt," Ismayil Mustafayev, noted that after the Republic of Azerbaijan regained its independence on October 18, 1991, Mexico was the first country in Latin America to recognize this independence. He said, "This political respect shown from across the ocean has resulted in the continued goodwill between the two countries, which is also maintained through organizations like ours."

The stamp, jointly "canceled" by Ms. Victoria Romero and Mr. Ismayil Mustafayev, showcases the shared national and cultural values of both nations. The stamp features two important elements from Mexican and Azerbaijani cuisines—tacos and qutab—against a backdrop of traditional patterns from both countries.
