President Ilham Aliyev reviews the stand of Azermarka

Nationwide festivities on the occasion of the national holiday of the people of Azerbaijan – Novruz have been held in Baku, on March 19.
AZERTAC reports that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva joined the Novruz festivities.
A special stand was made, at the popular festivity, by “Azermarka” Limited Liability Company of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, dedicated to Novruz Holiday.
At the stand which depicted a portrait of national leader Heydar Aliyev, were demonstrated stamps dedicated to “Muslim Magomayev”, “Tofig Guliyev”, “Gara Garayev”, “Baku 2017 IV Islamic Solidarity Games”, “Standard Edition 2018”, “Novruz”, “2017”, “Formula 1”, "XXI Summer Olympic Games - Rio 2016 ”, books dedicated “ European Games 2015”, “ Azerbaijan”, “Icheri Sheher”, “Karabakh”, “Eurovision 2012”, as well as booklets and postal products dedicated “Tourism”, “Europe” and so on.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were informed that Azermarka LLC released stamps on Azerbaijan's independence, state attributes, economic development, national holidays, architectural monuments, prominent public and political figures, important global events, and Karabakh. At the same time, these stamps have been distributed internationally.
The Head of the State and the First Lady signed and sealed the first stamp dedicated to Novruz Holiday, by which, this stamp, having gained a historical significance, was put into circulation through “Azerpost” LTD.
A drawing contest dedicated to 100th anniversary of ADR
Azermarka LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies starting March 26, will launch a drawings contest for children aged 5-14 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
The main goal of the contest, which will be held under the motto “Live, my Azerbaijan!”, is to instill in children a love for the Motherland and respect for national traditions, as well as to reveal their creative potential.
In order to participate in the contest, it is necessary to send a drawing with a note “Action. Live, my Azerbaijan!” by mail to the organizing committee of the contest (address: Baku, Drogalny turn, 702. Azermarka LLC). The note must also contain the mailing address, surname, name and the age of the participant, as well as the mobile phone number of the parent.
The deadline for accepting drawings is April 26. The drawings sent after the deadline, as well as those not conforming to the theme of the contest, will not be admitted to the contest.
The jury will identify the best 10 drawings in the period from April 26 to May 1.
The winners of the first 3 places will receive cash rewards (1st place - 300 manat, 2nd place - 200 manat, 3rd place - 100 manat).
The remaining 7 winners will receive valuable prizes.
Azermarka will select the most successful drawing for the design of a greeting card dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR).
