V National Philatelic Exhibition “BakıFilEkspo” opened

The V National Philatelic Exhibition “BakıFilEkspo” opened on November 8 at the Carpet Museum with the organizational support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Azermarka LLC and Azerbaijan Philatelic Society.
The exhibition was attended by Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Valizade, Deputy President of the Seaside Boulevard Office Elshan Isgandarov, Director of Azermarka LLC Leyla Gulaliyeva, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Philatelic Society Rovshan Ahmadov, philatelists, numismatists and other collectors.
The event demonstrated unique and distinct from each other collections. The history of mail in the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the release of envelopes with postage stamps dedicated to the Soviet-era Azerbaijan, interesting postage stamps issued in Azerbaijan in 1992-2018 and other collections aroused great interest among visitors.
Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade, Deputy President of the Seaside Boulevard Office Elshan Isgandarov sealed the stamp dedicated to the State Flag of Azerbaijan with the use of a special postmark.
Several types of nominal postage stamps were printed and presented to participants.
Azermarka LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies awarded 7 people with a gold commemorative medal, 5 people with a silver commemorative medal, 5 people with a bronze commemorative medal, 3 people with diplomas for their presentation of collections at the V National Philatelic Exhibition.
The exhibition will run until November 9.
