President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva have viewed Bakutel 2019, the 25th Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunications, Innovations and High Technologies at the Baku Expo Center.

Director of Azermarka LLC Leyla Gulaliyeva gave detailed information to the head of state and the first lady about the products displayed at the stand. It was noted that the first postage stamp of Azerbaijan, issued on October 20, 1919, turns 100-years-old. In this regard, this year Azermarka has started to prepare a series of books entitled “Azerbaijan”. The first book in this series is dedicated to Nakhchivan. The book, consisting of photos by professional photographer Emil Khalilov, is dedicated to the flora and fauna, monuments, architectues and sanctuaries of the Autonomous Republic. The book includes 53 different stamps.
Then the head of state Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva sealed the First Day Covers with special commemorative postmark.
Note that another innovation presented by Azermarka LLC at Bakutel-2019 is an Augmented reality application prepared for postage stamps issued on the theme of “Joint issue of Belarus and Azerbaijan. Folk tales”. The edition was prepared in the form of one souvenir sheet consisting 4 stamps, 2 small sheets of the same number of stamps and printed in Bobruisk, Belarus, with 5,000 souvenir sheets and a print run of 5,000 copies on each small sheets. The stamps depict scenes from the Azerbaijani folk tale “Malikmammad" and the Belarusian folk tale “Golden Bird” (Bel. – “Залаты птах”).
The application entitled “3 Alma (AR)” will be available on Google Play and Apple Store to download for free. Following launching the application, you need to focus the smartphone camera on the stamp “Malikmammad”. As a result, sound 3D animation is launched.
