Actress Leyla Badirbeyli on postage stamps

Azermarka LLC operating under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has issued a postage stamp on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Leyla Badirbeyli, a prominent actress, Azerbaijani theater figure, People's Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR, USSR State Prize winner.
On the stamp which designed by the chief artist of Azermarka Vugar Ayyubov, a portrait of the actress was depicted. The vertical arrangement of stamps on a sheet of 16 (4x4) stamps is reminiscent of film tape, in which each stamp has 1 whole and 2 incomplete "sequence". The stamps, issued on May 21, 2020, were printed by the Belarusian Bobruisk Integrated Printing House with a circulation of 300,000. Also, 200 First Day covers were prepared.
