A postage stamp issued to mark the 125th anniversary of ghazal master Aliaga Vahid

Azermarka LLC, which operates under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, has issued a postage stamp to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Aliaga Vahid, a prominent Azerbaijani master of ghazals.
The stamp graphically depicting the poet has been released as part of a joint issue of stamps with the theme “Art Workers” chosen by the RCC member states for 2020.
The stamps designed by Azermarka’s chief artist Vugar Ayyubov were printed in the Republic of Belarus with a circulation of 300 000. In addition, 200 First Day Covers have been issued and put on sale.
