The role of Azerbaijani oil in the destruction of fascism is undeniable

Azermarka LLC, which operates under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, has issued a postage stamp dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in World War II.
The stamp was issued to promote Azerbaijan's contribution to the victory over fascism in 1941-1945 among both local and foreign philatelists. The stamp depicts a pumpjack destroying a helmet of a Wehrmacht soldier, while the background shows drilling derricks of that time.
This stamp was designed to highlight the importance of Azerbaijani oil and the titanic work of Azerbaijani oil workers in the rear in the destruction of fascism, which became one of the great disasters in the middle of the 20th century, and to raise awareness of the issue among collectors around the world.
In addition, 200 First Day Covers have been issued.
