As part of the "Heydar Aliyev Year," Azerpost LLC, located within the Ministry of Digital Development and Transportation, has issued postage stamps dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Postage stamps dedicated to the memory of the founder of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan, the brilliant politician, and powerful statesman Heydar Aliyev have been issued in various categories and printed in two countries. Among these stamps, a limited edition block of 1 stamp, with a total of 2000 copies, was printed with a gold foil in Germany's "Bundesdruckerei" publishing house located in Berlin.

Special attention was given to the design of the postage block. Heydar Aliyev's photo and his famous quote, "I have always been proud, and today I am proud to be an Azerbaijani," were printed with gold foil. The nominal value of the stamp is set at 10 manats. Additionally, for the first time in Azerbaijan, a "QR code" has been placed on the stamp for wider dissemination of information about the Great Leader. A stamp with a nominal value of 0.50 qepik, with a print run of 300,000, was printed in Germany and released into circulation.

Other stamps, presented in block and small sheet formats, were designed in a modern style, featuring various photos of the National Leader taken during different periods.

In a time when interest in philately is resurging worldwide, Azerbaijan's new stamps will be a significant gift for collectors and a means to internationally promote the country when affixed to letters. Recognizing this, Azerpost LLC has released "Heydar Aliyev 100 years" branded standard postage stamps in 6 different denominations, with a total print run of 4,581,000 for domestic and international postal use. These standard postage stamps were printed at the "Integrated Printing House" in Bobruysk, Belarus.

In addition to the postage stamps, First Day Envelopes and special cancellations have been prepared.

The project was carried out by two artist-designers - Nariman Mammadzade and Orkhan Garaev.
